Thinking about Mother's Day
Tomorrow is Mother's Day and I wish I could buy a card and present for my mother, Mary Ethyl Sagaser Eggleston. She died from cancer in 1984--so long ago--and there are still many times I want to pick up the phone and call her. Better yet I want to walk in the back door of 410 N. Rutherford in Macon, Missouri, and there she would be in the kitchen. My mother always had a smile on her face. How many people do you know who are smiling when they wake up in the morning? That was my mother. She was a life-long learner, a musician, and a leader in the community. Whenever you notice anything good about me, it is because of my mother (and my father too). I am such a lucky person. So--Happy Mother's Day to You Dear Mother!!!!

Welcome to My Blog
Here I go--having a great sunny Missouri day. My 2 poodles and I are watching the news and just found out that a U.S. Navy Seal dog was with the Seal Team that got OBL. Both Maxwell and Scooter are very proud of this dog, but both said, "We would rather go to the Mall." What do you expect from poodles?
